Dimitra Manis

Executive Vice President, Chief Purpose Officer, S&P Global

Dimitra is Executive Vice President, Chief Purpose Officer of S&P Global. She oversees People, Marketing, Corporate Responsibility, DEI, and Communications. She serves as a board member at S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC, S&P Global Foundation, and the British American Business Inc. where she also serves on the Nominating and Compensation Committee.

A bold, inspirational leader, Dimitra is known for leading award-winning teams through transformations. She is a trusted advisor to CEOs, executive teams, and boards of directors on business, compensation, organizational change, diversity, talent strategies, M&A, and crisis management.

Dimitra is renowned for leading a “People First” experience that continues to make a lasting impact on people, customers, and local communities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dimitra co-led the S&P Global COVID-19 Steering Committee and informed the CEO and Board of Directors on critical business continuity decisions. Building on extensive experience leading business transformations, Dimitra acts as executive sponsor for strategic initiatives that drive business growth or build foundational capabilities. She was a member of the steering committee for S&P Global’s merger with IHS Markit and is leading integration for People, Marketing, Corporate Responsibility, DEI, and Communications.

Before joining S&P Global, Dimitra had a breadth of experience as a People leader. She has led teams across industries, including Consumer Goods [Revlon, The Esteé Lauder Companies, Nike], Financial Services [AXA Group, ANZ Banking Group], Data, Information and Technology [Thomson Reuters, OpenLink], Entertainment [Village Roadshow], and Communications [Nortel Networks].

A native Australian, Dimitra has lived and worked in many countries across North America, Europe, and Asia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Monash University, Australia, and a postgraduate diploma from Deakin University, Australia. She has taught as an Adjunct Professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business, USA, Cornell University, USA, Mountbatten Institute/St Mary’s College, United Kingdom and Monash University, Australia.
